We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern to join our team.  In this role you will be working directly with our Senior Sales Associate to collect and validate information for prospecting via phone and on-line databases.    This internship will provide the candidate with practical sales, marketing and general business experience to help augment their education and career preparation. 

 

Position Responsibilities

  • Gather security contact information for list of identified market segments to include job title, phone number and e-mail.
  • Put together targeted mailings to list of identified companies.
  • Research each company identifying relevant data pertaining to security opportunities.  Examples:  New locations, purchasing or merging with existing companies, workplace violence issues, etc.
  • Enter information in company CRM tool
  • Assist in preparing sales data for new prospects
  • Perform market analysis and research on competition
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Senior IT Specialist
 

Job Description
The Senior IT Engineer will have extensive technical experience and knowledge of Information Technolog.  They need to possess leadership qualities and are looking to grow with an organization.  Candidates must be customer oriented, courteous, attentive and adaptable to different scenarios.

 

Information Technology Experiences & Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent work experience

Responsiblities 

            Network

  • Perform network design, set-up, troubleshooting and break/fix

  • Understanding of bandwidth usage and VLans

  • Implementation of complex subnets

    Hardware

  • Perform server hardware configuration changes, server installations and decommissions

  • New server and OS deployment, server rebuilds, server moves

  • Rack and cable new servers while understanding MDF, IDF layouts

     

    Software

  • Perform server imaging/server build-out on all new server builds and server rebuilds

  • Perform OS/software troubleshooting for all new server builds, server rebuilds, and server configuration changes

  • Perform break/fix and issue investigations

  • Install all required IPAKs, security patches, and supported software

  • Provide advanced application and environmental support

     

    Documentation

  • Create technical documentation for customers and in-house staff

  • Maintain and update customer site documentations

     

    Customer Relation

  • Provide support for customers, project managers and technicians while demonstrating patients and sense of urgency

     

    Ticketing

  • Manage assigned tickets and assist in managing ticket queue on a daily basis

  • Receive or assign service tickets and service all assigned tickets to the best of your abilities

  • Create new tickets for un-ticketed work requests

  • Update ticket fields upon receipt

  • Manage daily task list and be able to prioritize tasks

Security Install Technician Level II

Job Description

The Security Install Technician Level II is responsible for installing, programming, terminating and commissioning a wide range of access control and CCTV products and systems. As a customer facing employee, the Security Install Technician Level II must be a personable, knowledgeable self starter who is capable of making sound decisions that are in the best interest of the customer and Unlimited Technology. The Security Install Technician Level II must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work closely with the sales and operations departments. This position requires passing random drug, alcohol and background checks.

 

       Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.

  • Install Access Control and CCTV systems according to engineered drawings.

  • Must possess programming skills associated with the UTI product line.

  • Program, terminate and commission a wide range of Access Control products and platforms.

  • Must be willing to travel up to 60% of the time, sometimes on short notice.

  • Must be able to identify and resolve issues that would have a negative impact on job productivity.

  • Thoroughly complete all necessary paperwork relating to job tickets.

  • Maintain a safe, clean working environment at all times.

  • Safely work at elevated heights above 12’ using ladders, bucket truck, platform lifts or JLG lifts.

  • Communicate all activity to the job Project Manager or Field Supervisor in a timely manner.

  • Must be willing to assist Level I technicians.

  • Maintain the condition and cleanliness of any company provided vehicle.

  • Ensure all UTI and site specific safety programs are followed.

  • Maintain a safe driving record and report any incidents or near misses to management immediately.

  • Attend any product or safety training that is required.

     

    Experiences & Knowledge

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Mastery of all Level I Install Technician responsibilities.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of field installation experience in the security environment.

  • Solid understanding of data communication protocols. (RS232, 422, 485, etc.)

  • Understand network protocols. TCPIP and DCHP

  • Certifications in Software House, AMAG and / or other Access Control platforms.

  • Demonstrate competencies in IP cameras and systems, such as Sony, Avigilon, Axis and Exacq.

  • Experienced in the installation of door hardware such as strikes and magnetic locks.

  • Experienced in reading and comprehending engineered drawings.

  • Experienced in the marking up, or “red lining” of drawings post install.

  • Proficient in the use of a computer, with MS Word and MS Excel skill sets.

Security Project Manager

Job Description

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of assigned jobs, including the installation, programming, start-up, test, check and documentation on large scale, multi phased projects utilizing a wide range of access control and CCTV products and systems. The Senior Project Manager must be able to direct multiple subcontractors in the field, read installation drawings, and communicate effectively with the Installation Field Supervisor. The Senior Project Manager must be a personable, knowledgeable self-starter who is capable of making sound decisions remotely that are in the best interest of the project, the customer, and Unlimited Technology. The Senior Project Manager must be able to adapt and recommend changes to a project while in the field based on local conditions that were not identified earlier. The Project Manager must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work closely with subcontractors and customers. This position requires passing random drug, alcohol and background checks.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.

  • Supervise the installation of various Access Control and CCTV systems according to engineered drawings.

  • Conduct in house and job site meetings.

  • Provide project forecasting for total cost to complete.

  • Control costs and invoicing.

  • Manage Subcontractors and UTI installers.

  • Create and execute project schedules.

  • Conduct job analysis identifying labor and material shortages.

  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time, sometimes on short notice.

  • Must be able to identify and resolve issues that would have a negative impact on job productivity.

  • Must be able to manage multiple projects at the same time.

  • Thoroughly complete all necessary paperwork relating to job, such as site documents and as-built drawing mark ups.

Sales Application Engineer

Job Description

The Sales Application Engineer role is to support Sales with existing and prospective customers, to assess their needs and to promote the sale of company solutions.  The Sales Application Engineer must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work closely with Sales, Engineers, Project Managers and customers.        Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist Sales on original walk-through to help identify scope of work.

  • Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs.

  • Performs review of job folder prior to Project Kickoff Meeting.

  • Work with Engineering/CAD to do initial drawing, verify drawing and review with Sales.

  • Creates detailed product and application specifications and submittal packages meeting the requests presented by the Client and in compliance with Unlimited Technology’s typical design standards, ensuring that system design integrity is maintained.

  • Confer with Sales to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.

  • Attend prebid meetings.

  • Collaborate with sales team to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support.

  • Recommend improved materials

  • Attend kick off meetings to review projects with Sales and Project Managers.

  • Assist in preparation and delivery of technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers.

  • Work with the Project Admin to ensure bid/submittal packages are accurate.

  • Provide technical and nontechnical support and services to clients or other staff members regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.

  • Participates in training sessions, seminars and continuing education to stay abreast of new technical developments. 

       Experiences & Knowledge

  • Four year bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a technical background equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in engineering.

  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services.

  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
